f(x) = 6 |x-2| + 3.....when f(x) = 39

39 = 6 |x-2| + 3
39 - 3 = 6 | x-2 |
36 = 6 |x-2|
36/6 = |x-2|
6 = |x-2|

x - 2 = 6
x = 6 + 2
x = 8

x - 2 = -6
x = -6 + 2
x = -4

answer : -4 and 8
