What is the idea of the “blank slate”?
What are some of the reasons to doubt that our minds are “blank slates”?

Pinker is essentially arguing that all humans are influenced by both nature and nurture. We are born with some aspects and we learn others through socialization. Do you agree or disagree with his theory? Why or why not?

I agree, because it's true that we are born with the basics such as the instructions to survive, and the need to socialize and be loved, much like dolphins and elephants who also share a high intelligence level with us humans. But traits such as aggressiveness and mimicry can either be inherited or learned throughout life.
