What can I say back to my peer to add to the conversation: n my crowdfunding campaign, I would be sure to include text and visuals, and have a positive, optimistic tone (Geiger & Moore, 2021). I would include images and text that elicit sympathy and get people's attention (Geiger & Moore, 2021). For example, I might use bright colors (hot pink for breast cancer awareness) or images of those suffering from breast cancer. I could describe different patients' stories about their experiences with breast cancer and how it affected their family, or describe family members who have lost a loved one to the disease. I would detail the importance of research in expanding knowledge about breast cancer and its treatment and how many lives could be saved if only there was more funding into research.
