If RS= 3x + 1,ST= 2x-2, and RT=64 find the value of x

If R, S, and T are collinear then you just need to use the segment addition postulate.
So it will be like RS+ST=RT
(3x+1)+(2x-2)=64
3x+1+2x-2=64
5x-1=64
5x=64+1
5x=65
x=65/5
x=13
